Qualification:
Bachelor’s & MBA degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or Logistics.
with certification from International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Institute (IPSCMI)
- Certified International Procurement Professional (CIPP)
- Certified International Procurement Manager (CIPM)
- Certified International Purchasing Consultant (CIPC)
Experience:
Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipment in a timely and cost-effective way; timely manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
Building strong working relationships both internally and with key suppliers/ Team Management.
Dealing with multinational clients
Organizing / Planning Ability – problem solving and time management.
Skills; meeting as well as working under deadlines; goal setting based on priorities
Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities
Negotiating Skills: Getting goods and services for the best price worth.
Developing an organization purchasing strategy
Control purchasing department budgets
Understanding and keeping up with new trends and regulations in the business
Understanding technology and managing online systems.
