Were looking for a reliable Storekeeper with 1–2 years of proven experience in food & beverage. This position is critical to the smooth running of our operations — ensuring that every ingredient, supply, and product is tracked, stored, and issued with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
-Maintain accurate, up-to-date stock records for all food, beverage, packaging, cleaning, and equipment items.
-Conduct daily spot checks and weekly/monthly full stock counts with variance reports submitted to management.
-Maintain par levels for all items and anticipate reorders to prevent shortages.
-Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expiry, First-Out) to reduce waste and avoid expired stock.
-Support cost control by recording weights, packaging sizes, and usage for accurate yield costing.
Receiving & Verification
-Check all deliveries against purchase orders and invoices for quantity, quality, and specifications.
-Reject and report damaged, expired, or substandard items immediately.
-Record receipts through Goods Received Notes (GRN) and ensure proper filing for finance and audit purposes.
-Coordinate delivery timings with suppliers and communicate delays or discrepancies to the Purchasing Officer.
Storage & Organization
-Store goods systematically across dry, chilled, and frozen areas for efficiency and accessibility.
-Ensure all stock is labeled, dated, and traceable upon receipt.
-Conduct daily temperature checks for chillers and freezers, ensuring HACCP compliance.
-Maintain storerooms, refrigerators, and freezers in a clean, organized, and hygienic condition.
-Immediately report equipment failures or maintenance needs to management.
Issuing & Distribution
-Issue stock accurately against approved requisitions from kitchen and FOH teams.
-Record all stock withdrawals to maintain 100% accuracy in daily usage logs.
Reporting & Compliance
-Prepare daily stock movement and variance reports for management review.
-Assist in monthly and quarterly audits to reconcile physical and system stock.
-Monitor slow-moving and near-expiry items, suggesting promotions or recipe adjustments.
-Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, health, and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
-1–2 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in F&B or hospitality.
-Solid understanding of inventory control and stock management procedures.
-Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
-Competency in MS Excel and/or inventory management software.
